Assumpta is a Junior Data Scientist at Dalberg Data Insights (DDI) where her recent projects have included building a dashboard based on machine learning for a client focused on gender equity and creating a web application designed to improve public health.

Prior to joining DDI, Assumpta worked as a junior data analyst at Equity Bank where she gained experience in data extraction, cleaning, and manipulation; creating data pipelines using python and pyspark (HDFS), and; building dashboards that surfaced new insights about banking clients that used banking and telco data. At Equity Bank she also used machine learning to predict the credit worthiness of loan applicants based on their historical data.

Assumpta holds a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Strathmore University, Nairobi, Kenya.
