In 2020, we committed to adhering to the Paris Climate Agreement to ensure we do not contribute to the warming of the planet beyond 1.5 degrees; we also have signed the UN Global Compact Business Ambition for 1.5 degrees, to hold ourselves accountable to this pledge.

We believe that

The climate crisis, environment and biodiversity loss, and the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy represent the greatest challenges facing humanity.
Every government, business, and institution needs to embed climate action in their strategy and urgently reduce emissions.

Taking action on climate is an opportunity to create a just and fair world that meets the needs of all people within the limits of nature.
Net zero is not enough, we need to go beyond – to restore, protect and regenerate our planet.

3 Components of Climate Commitment

We are committed to learning, sharing, and taking even more ambitious steps in the future and to helping others do the same.

01. Significantly reduce our own impact on climate & the environment

by measuring and reducing our emissions and plastic in line with the climate science, and offsetting remaining emissions and plastic.

We aim to:

– Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 55% by end of 2026 from a 2019 base year, and reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions 55% per unit of revenue by end of 2026 from a 2019 base year
– Take efforts to reduce our per-person plastics footprint and offset our ongoing plastics usage using industry benchmarks

02. Create Solutions for Climate & Nature

by applying a climate lens to all projects, and driving climate impact for clients through project work.

We aim to:

– Propose solutions that advance (and never propose solutions that regress from) national targets for climate action
– Include additional options that optimize for climate outcomes even where this is not asked by the client

03. Catalyse a Climate Community

by fostering innovation and helping to develop climate-focused coalitions for change.

– We commit to be a laboratory for emerging and innovative climate solution providers to test their proposition with us.
– We will convene across enterprises in coalitions, working towards innovative partnerships for climate action.
