Arianna Freschi is an Associate Partner in Dalberg’s London office, previously based in Mumbai. She brings a decade of experience advising international organizations on strategic and operational questions, with a particular focus on global health and gender. 

In global health, she has advised multilateral organizations, philanthropic funders, and NGOs across infectious diseases, pandemic preparedness, women’s health, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Recent projects include designing integrated strategies for CIFF’s maternal and child health and NTD programs, assessing new investment areas for the Gates Foundation’s NTD portfolio, and supporting Jhpiego in defining a data-science strategy for primary healthcare delivery models. Arianna has also helped establish new multi-partner initiatives, such as a market manager for SRH products and a global partnership to accelerate access to Assistive Technologies, bringing together partners to define inaugural strategies and operational plans. 

Arianna also has significant experience in building and transforming organizations, and co-leads Dalberg Organisational Effectiveness Practice. She has led end-to-end strategy design, governance, and process improvement for both emerging and mature institutions. She oversaw the creation and launch of a joint Technical Assistance Facility among European DFIs and supported a large-scale organizational transformation across global research institutions. Arianna also served as Dalberg’s Global Chief of Staff, working directly with the Global Managing Partner to drive Dalberg’s own strategic and operational priorities. In this role, she led Dalberg’s annual strategy and budgeting processes, designed improvements to core operational functions, and managed regular executive committee meetings. 

Prior to joining Dalberg, Arianna worked in global health and in humanitarian settings. She spent two with GSMA’s Mobile for Development program, supporting tech-for-good grant investments, the World Health Organization, supporting polio eradication campaign in conflict zones, and UNICEF, working on education and health programs in refugee settings. 

Arianna holds an MSc. in Global Governance from the University of Oxford a first class BA.Hons. in Politics and Sociology from the University of Cambridge.
